A quick sketch can be just another crumbled paper or just exactly the change we need.

Let’s keep up the iterations.

Being an analytical people person with a background in industrial design, graphic design and branding I am now exploring UX design. The main theme through all is to let the users and their needs show the way for change and innovation.

  • Why UX design at Hyper Island?

Hyper Island Upskill is a program that gives the latest learnings within the full UX design process. By engaging industrial leaders from around different european contries we get the bits and bobs from different corners of the field and real world experience from leading companies and UX designers. With an experimenting mind set where we fail fast we also learn fast.

You said "fail fast", why do you want to fail?

By adopting to the mind-set of experimentation and "just do" there is space to iterate another and understand the real needs and reach suitable solutions.

  • What is the best method to create values?

Well, probably it depends. Different methods suits different occasions. Also, understanding the importance of using mixed methods takes us far, by combining insights from different methods such as quantitative and qualitative data can give deepened insights that are even more spot on target.

  • Except the hands on methods you also looked into Ethics, how does that relate to UX?

As a UX designer we are always striving to reach better solutions and being change makers. As with many things we have good intentions but there are also other side of the coin.  We know for sure that the infinite scroll on instagram was something that was made to create a good experience but now we know better and we can see the dark patterns and down sides with that as well. It's always important to understand the bigger picture of what one is doing to make sure the effects are creates the right values, and being user centered.

How do you see
